I guess I should really post something...

Seeing as Adam has posted 3 times in a row, I guess it's my turn, per se. And Alison's, too. So as some of you may know, Al and I frequent Livejournal, because it's really cool to be on Livejournal. But we don't do just anything on Livejournal; we're poets. So we're going to share some of our poetry with you.

Nick:

Life is Bad
I write in my livejournal a lot
I also wear lots of black
I really like vampires
My room is an empty wasteland
For such is life.

The Lollypop and the Hamburger
One day, a lollypop was sitting on a hill
Then along came the hamburger
"I love lollypops," thought the hamburger
"I love hamburgers," thought the lollypop
And then they married
But then they ended up in an empty wasteland
For such is life.

Alison:

Ode to a Depressed Teenager
Angst
The angst in my life is big
Big like a hot cake
A hot cake that is big
And I'm tired
Tired of being ignored
By the world
The world is black
Black like my soul
I'M RIDING A BUTTERFLY ALL THE WAY TO HELL.
Hellfire
Angst
Lip ring

The Hand of A Concerned Citizen
I was trapped
Spray paint in one hand
My poetry in another
And the police ran toward me
"PUT YOUR HANDS UP!"
One had a little jelly on his lips
I am shamed
Lip ring
