A Few Announcements

Alright, I have a few announcements. Three, to be percise, two of which are pleasant, one not so much. I'll get the bad one over with.

1. Appropriateness in the forums: this is a tricky issue, but our rules are very clear. If there is something that you wouldn't want to say in front of a dean, do not say it on our forums. Adam and I refuse to have our forums polluted with filth. And, for those of you who need a refresher course: cursing does not make you funny. In fact, if you curse to be funny, you will never, ever become a minion. Those are our rules, and that's all there is to that.

If you say something innapropriate in the forums, we will delete it. We don't want to hear who provoked you, where it came from, or why you said it. We couldn't care less. In fact, if you complain to us about the fairness of us deleting your post, we might just suspend you. We WANT you to talk in our forums, but if you can't handle the responsability, we'll take it away. No questions asked. There is no fuzziness about our rules. There are no questions. If we deleted your post, it's because we, the Twisted Satire team, refuse to have the filth that you try to drag into our forums degrade our community.

Ok, I'm glad that's over with. Now for the more pleasant stuff.

2. It looks like a Twisted Satire comic strip is going to happen, thanks to the genius of artist David Berry. We'll all be collaberating closely with David over the next few days, and the things David and we come up with are going to remain top secret until the first comic is published on our site here.

3. We might have an influx of new minions soon. There are a few people we really like the work of, and a few we're going to put under consideration. For your enjoyment...

David Berry will most likely become a minion as soon as the first comic is published.

We're highly considering Jason Mow because we think he's smart and has some good material.

Sean Kesluk may become our editor in cheif, which, in this case, is a person to whom we can send material and have him edit it for content and, of course, grammar.

If Daniel Masterson can get some good material together, he might become a minion, as well.

So, with that said, I hope you guys enjoy (not abuse) the forums, and enjoy the possible new contributers coming over the next few weeks. Cheers!

--Nick Merrill (with thoughts from Adam Rothman, as well)
